Tried this App when Syrinx went offline. I couldnt get past the fact that the tweets are not in order. See some from months ago sprinkled within the recent ones. Doesnt look like the from Twitter. Also, couldnt get rid of retweets!

I manage two twitter accounts and Janetter makes it easy to switch between the two. You can near instantaneously post on one account and then post another tweet with the other account. The interface is clean and easy to understand. Janetter is definitely my favourite Twitter client for the Mac!
Nothing is ever perfect, but Janetter comes close! Love the layout and all the features.
I have played with many twitter clients and this one has been great. The only feature I am missing is schedualled tweets, but the app itself has been perfect.
All my accounts, all my categories, and in all the same place. Perfect.
great app, simple. too cool. try it, just try... and u know how it work, so nice.
First I dont like any app that does not let me log out. I dont trust apps that leave me logged in 24/7. Other than that I found the app lacking. It sort of looks pretty but I was not seeing the info I needed to navigate or see what I wanted to see.
Installed it and within 10 minutes found it to be a poorly designed unfriendly application. Already uninstalled.
This is really great for handling multiple accounts, displaying multiple feeds, lists, @replies, dms, etc. You can easily have a lot of information flowing by on your desktop. My main gripe is the look. It looks terrible. Period. It’d be nice if there were more appearance customization or packages I could add on (I am thinking like Adium used to have). Also it seems to crash a good bit, and sometimes hogs CPU or memory annoyingly. Overall though, it is very powerful and will give you a lot of Twitter feeds!
Ive been using this client for a long time since the demise of Seesmics platform. And this solution is perfect for me since I have two twitter accounts. Its easier to keep track of whats going on. :) Thumbs up, man.
Does what it is supposed to do, and does not bloat the “product” with unnecessary features. My favorite thing about it is the available skins built in.
this app is pretty perfect for how i use twitter. it’s easy and really intuitive. being able to easily layout my stream plus a few interesting searches is great. if i had to nitpick, i’d ask for replies to link the the original message in some fashion (like the twitter web client), and searching for contacts could be a little better.
I’ve used many Twitter apps and all of them have fallen short. Some apps seem to be better as OSX apps, others are better at being an iOS app. Janetter is fabulous at both. First, the OSX app has so many customization features, it’s unreal. There are over 100 fonts to choose from, and many different sizes. (Some of us are getting older). With Mavericks, you can create an entire screen of Janetter, using the 4-finger swipe access it, which is easy. Another essential function is the ability to translate tweets. I follow a lot of Tweeps worldwide, so its nice to know what they are saying. I use the iOS version on my iPhone. The app shines there too. I use it a lot less though, mostly because the iPhone screen is so small. I only use iPhone apps when I’m out of the house. Finally, the name is catchy since it sounds like janitor. However, it is hard to remember the spelling when referring it to friends. I do like the name, but an easy name might create more word-of-mouth spread.
I downloaded this application and within a half hour my account was hacked. I’ve never had an issue with account security before I allowed this application access to my profile. Be careful!
Great little app for Twitter use, flexible layout and pretty design options, dependable interface.
A friend had recommended this app as a replacement for the official Twitter app for OS X. Unlike the official app, Janetter allows users to view multiple Twitter feeds (general/news comments, direct messages, replies, et cetera) at once rather than switch between different views and only being able to see one feed at once. It even includes an option to save drafts, as well as quickly jump to unread tweets. My only issue so far is in regards to blocking spam tweets - unlike the official Twitter app there’s no selection in the right-click menu regarding options to block and/or report spam accounts. This being my only serious issue with the app (thus the four-star rating), the overall app is solid. *Extra points for the default GUI, as I prefer the smoke/“space grey” background rather than the constant off-white prevalent in many Mac apps. *FYI, there’s an option to use an image for the app’s background. It’s a nice touch, but whether this will be used or not is debatable. Still, it’s a sign that the developers placed a lot of attention and care during the app’s development.
The app just stopped working one day. No matter what I did nothing was happening and I can’t use it anymore
Sadly, I’m getting the "Sorry, please try again later. This application cannot authenticate more users at this time.” And per Janetter’s support instructions (on their blog), going to the “Sign In” page is no longer working either. Not sure how this can even be fixed? This app was my fav twitter client, but not sure it’s worth the $6.99 for the pro version (since it’s just for a single account).
Unfortunately it seems Janetter has run out of API tokens, as when I downloaded the app, installed it, and tried to sign in, I get an error from Twitter saying that Janetter is unable to authorize new users. Too bad.
I downloaded this a week ago and tried to "Sign In With Twitter" each day since and it just keeps giving me the same error: "Sorry, please try again later. This application cannot authenticate more users at this time." If they havent resolved this problem after a week, then theyre not serious about customer support.
